I was #blessed enough to witness Jeurissen Hasselt’s (whose online shop you can access by clicking on this link!) photoshoot for their online webshop, and I must say, I may not have the legs to rock their dresses, but HOT DAMN I wish I did! I fell in love with literally every single piece from the collection, and I haven’t even seen all of it yet!

So here’s how Wednesday went:

I got tot he shop thinking my job was going to be limited to handing out clothes to the models, hanging them back up once they were done shooting, and keeping track of every outfit that was being shot so we wouldn’t shoot them twice by accident, or, even worse, forget one. I must say my heart skipped a beat when Marie-Lynn Jeurissen told me I could help her with the styling and with the shoot itself!!! Me???? But I don’t even know what I’m doing 99% of the time….

I naturally panicked whenever she asked for an opinion -old habits die hard, eh?-, but as the day went on, I got more and more comfortable when it came to picking out looks, and even suggesting poses for the models. The day as long, and incredibly exhausting, but towards the end of it, I felt incredibly thankful I got to be a part of such an amazing team, and that people who’ve been in the business for YEARS treated me like their equal, even though I still look like trash every now and then.

From what I gathered, ponchos, fringe, and oversized sweaters are going to be hella in this season! Puffer jackets and tracksuit-like pants will stick around us for this season too, so feel free to pair those up with a loose blouse and a pair of sneakers when you don’t feel like walking around in a Red Valentino and Louboutins. Out of all the looks I saw yesterday, this flower kimono was definitely one of my favorites. What a better chance to up your extra at home, right? I also liked this Kenzo puffer jacket Anna is wearing, and this black Armani suede puffer Vanille is rocking above (especially because some of the poses she’s striking we’re actually my ideas hehe.)

My office for the day

Thank you SO much to the entire Jeurissen clan, the models, and the incredible woman behind the camera, Alexandra Bertels, for this AMAZING opportunity!! Working with you guys is always a pleasure, and I’m incredibly happy I got to introduce “Don Diego” to my Jeurissen fam!

Keep an eye on www.looksnlabels.eu for the full product, and be sure to follow them on insta for their updates! Or even better yet: hop around their Hasselt store (JEURISSEN COUTURE – Kapelstraat 12) to see these babies irl. The Jeurissen staff will be happy to help you join the J-family!

And as if all of this wasn’t cool enough already, remember that this is only PART ONE! of the collection, and they’ve got a whole lot of cool stuff from Filles A Papa (my personal fave), Rag and Bone, Alexander Wang and many other amazing brands waitig for you to discover them!

Last but not least, if you or anyone you know needs help on anything related to fashion, tell them Don Diego is not afraid of getting his hands dirty (once the dumb fuck is done with his make up exams, of course. Stay in school kids!)
