Acknowledgements

I would have never even dared to start this if it hadn’t been for lots of awesome people who gave me the confidence I lacked to start this project.

Marie Lynn Jeurissen, your kind words and your family’s generosity were and are everything to me. Thank you for encouraging me, and pushing me into doing this. Dikke kusjes for you and the entire Jeurissen family!

Abby, I know I can be a total pain in the ass, but thank you so so much for helping me design this website. I barely even know how to turn my computer on, but you were kind enough to explain this all to me and if it weren’t for you, I would still be writing this down in pieces of paper on the back of my notebooks.

Nicole, I have always looked up to you. You have been relentless while chasing your dreams, and you have never let anyone or anything stop you. Thank you for inspiring me into doing the same. Te adoro demasiado beibi.

Amelia, thank you for teaching me so many lessons about self-love and self worth. You were -and are- one of the strongest people I’ve ever met, and you always knew how to make me smile, even at my lowest points. And thank you for reintroducing black into my wardrobe! I love you baby.

Audrey, thank you for your companionship in all of our adventures, our shopping dates, and our (failed) attempts at working out. You are such an important part of my life, and if it wasn’t for you and your kind words, I would still lack the confidence I needed to embark in this project.

Paola -my bae- thank you for being so damn cool and strong. I love you more than words will ever allow me to explain and I will always look up to you, you crazy New Yorker!

Friends and family around the world, thank you for loving me and reading this.

My gratitude to all of you, wether I mentioned you specifically or not, is eternal.
